New to Colorado or a local looking for a car event to attend? This article is just for you! Colorado is home to many fabulous car events during the summer months, however, these 4 events are some of the best the state has to offer! I personally have spent the last 3 years attending Colorado based events and have hand picked my top 5 favorite events and must attends. These events each bring the best of the best in terms of builds and entertainment. In this article, I am going to break down each event and highlight the reasons they belong on this list.

Number 5 KBPI Rocks the Rockies. If you have lived in Colorado, then you may already know the name Willy B and his radio show on KBPI, if not, then you may also know his name from his shared love for cars. That said, he and the radio station have teamed up to host a drag racing event like none other. This car show is complete with a multi act stage, stunning cars and a full day of drag racing. If straight lines, high octane and good music are your thing, then you definitely will want to add this event to your calendar. Located at the illustrious Bandimere Speedway just off C470, you're sure to hear the roar of this shared passion before you even arrive. and with the closure of Bandimere after this season. it will be the last one to hit Thunder mountain!

Number 4, Down to Earth Days.

If you are looking for a great single day event that tops the rest, you are truly going to want to check out Down to Earth Days by the Down to Earth Movement. With an entertainment factor that goes well beyond a typical 1 day car show, you will never want this event to come to an end! Walking into the show itself, you are met with amazing smells from car fumes and various food vendors. In addition, this event hosts some beautiful vehicles well worth walking around to look at and vote on! From some of the best cars in Colorado and outlying states showing for their perspective trophy, and possibly even the coveted Best in show Trophy you might want to bring a neck brace because you won't stop rubbernecking all day! Then, just as you thought you have seen enough and seen every car, the main events begin to unfold. From 2 step contests, a burnout box of doom, and the final event of the evening the drift expo.
