"It's about going out and having fun with your friends, high-fiving each other, even at the peak of competition," Wait said. "If you lose, you go up and high-five because you had a blast anyway."

Drift Colorado has many events it puts on during the automotive season, that being said, a personal
favorite for us here at Street Scene Review is February Frenzy! Or as Josh Spencer says, "It's the wild west event of Colorado drifting that both opens up the season, and hurts feelings at the same time!" February Frenzy is a lot of fun, emotions and getting out there to drift around the track, shake of some rust and see what your car is made of. For many drivers, this event in particular is a test. Am I ready for this drift season, did I get all car issues fixed over the past few months, do I have the right parts? These questions and more are all getting asked during this event. This is also the event to introduce and meet with the new drivers! At the same time, its the community of enthusiast that comes together, braves the cold, snow and ice to have fun, talk shop and drift around the track!
"Georgetown Lake has been home to Colorado ice driving for decades at this point, but it's the first time professional and novice drifters have taken to the frozen lake for fun at all kinds of speeds.-CBS
News" While sadly, this year Street Scene Review wasn't able to make it to Ice Drifting, we were able to watch short video clips, see some fire photos and read about it on CBS. Special shoutout to Ian McDougall and Colorado Drift School for the short video and photos!
Special shoutout to Ian McDougall, Colorado Drift School, Levi Wait, Drift Colorado and Black Fox Apparel for the pictures and short video!
